Visit one of Türkiye's most breathtaking natural wonders on this full-day trip from Antalya to Pamukkale — the dazzling "Cotton Castle" whose brilliant white travertine terraces cascade down the hillside like frozen waterfalls.
Formed over thousands of years by mineral-rich thermal springs, these gleaming pools are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll walk barefoot across the warm terraces and, right above them, explore the extensive ruins of Hierapolis — an ancient Greco-Roman spa city with a vast necropolis, colonnaded street and grand theatre that played an important role in early Christianity.
For a truly special experience you can swim in the Cleopatra Antique Pool, bathing among sunken Roman columns in water that stays above 36°C (optional). With lunch and expert guiding included, it's a long but hugely rewarding day of natural beauty and ancient history.

What to wear
Light comfortable clothing; wear or pack a swimsuit if you'd like to swim. You must walk barefoot on the travertines, so easy-off shoes/sandals are ideal.

Swimsuit and towel, camera, sunscreen, hat, water and cash for entrance fees and the optional pool.
Pick-up & times
Long full day, approx. 05:30–20:30. Early pick-up from Antalya, Belek, Lara, Kemer and Side areas.
Fitness level
Easy to moderate — walking on wet, uneven travertine surfaces (can be slippery).
Good to know
It's a long drive each way; comfortable clothing and a small snack help. The Cleopatra Pool has a separate entrance fee.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
05:00–06:00 — Early hotel pick-up (long drive). Breakfast stop en route. Late morning — arrive Pamukkale; guided tour of Hierapolis Ancient City, the necropolis and theatre. Midday — Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon — walk barefoot on the travertine terraces; optional swim in the Cleopatra Antique Pool. Late afternoon departure and approx. 20:00–21:00 return to your hotel.
