Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport, the group will be welcomed by our professional representative and transferred to the hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 2 - ISTANBUL CHRISTIAN HERITAGE TOUR | Breakfast & Lunch After breakfast, begin a guided tour focusing on Christian heritage connected to the Apostolic period and the spread of Christianity. Visit Santa Maria Draperis Church, St. Pierre & Paul Church in Galata and St. Anthony of Padua Church. Continue to Hagia Sophia, the historic Church of Holy Wisdom, followed by the Hippodrome and the Obelisk of Theodosius. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 3 - FLIGHT TO İZMİR & EPHESUS TOUR | Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Transfer to the airport for a morning domestic flight to İzmir. Drive to Ephesus, where Apostle Paul preached and lived for approximately three years. Explore the ancient city, including the marble streets, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and the Great Theatre. Visit the Basilica of St. John, the Temple of Artemis and the House of the Virgin Mary. Lunch at a local restaurant, dinner at the hotel and overnight in Kuşadası. DAY 4 - PERGAMUM, THYATIRA & SMYRNA | Breakfast, Lunch & Farewell Dinner Drive to Pergamum, one of the Seven Churches of Asia, and visit the Acropolis, theatre, Asklepion, Altar of Zeus area, Temple of Trajan and the Red Basilica. Continue to Thyatira, modern-day Akhisar, another of the Seven Churches, and view the remaining basilica and Roman-period structures. Proceed to İzmir, ancient Smyrna, for a panoramic orientation and selected historical viewpoints. Lunch at a local restaurant, farewell dinner and overnight in İzmir. DAY 5 - RETURN TO ISTANBUL & DEPARTURE | Breakfast After breakfast, check out and transfer to İzmir Airport for the domestic flight to Istanbul.
